Halitosis
Halitosis, or is commonly known as bad breath, means that you have an unpleasant smell on your breath. Other people would notice when you speak and breathe out. The exact number of people who has bad breath is not known, but bad breath or halitosis is common. Most people have bad breath after a night sleep. Which is normal to us and it occurs because the mouth tends to get dry and stagnate overnight. This usually clears when the flow of saliva increases soon after starting to eat breakfast.
It has been scientifically tested that most cases of bad breath come from debris (bacteria or germs) that builds up within the mouth. As the bacteria break down proteins and other debris in the mouth, they release foul-smelling gases. Chemicals in foods can get into the bloodstream, and then be breathed out from our lungs. Most people are familiar with the smell of garlic, spicy foods, and alcoholic drinks on the breath of the people who have recently eaten or drunk these. Other various foods, medicine or drinks can cause bad breath. This type of bad breath is just temporary and can be easily cured by not eating food.
Dentist has highly recommended us different brands of toothpaste. As we see in television, there is an advertise about toothpaste and mouthwash. So in order to prevent bad breath just use mouthwash everyday and every night. And to brush our teeth daily, two to three times a day. And see your dentist every month to ask guidance about dental problems.
